These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Plero’s website and services. By using Plero, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What Plero is

Plero provides administrative and technology services that help organizations create and manage endowment and reserve funds. Plero is not a bank, broker-dealer, registered investment adviser, law firm, or tax advisor. Endowment assets are held in your organization’s own name at a third-party custodian. Nothing on this site is investment, legal, or tax advice.

Eligibility & accounts

Plero and its donation features are available only to organizations that are registered tax-exempt nonprofits under Section 501(c) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Every organization is verified by Plero before it can join or receive contributions, and we may request documentation of tax-exempt status at any time; access may be declined or suspended if an organization does not qualify. You must be authorized to act on behalf of your organization to enter into any agreement with Plero. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in an unauthorized way.
Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose or to infringe the rights of others.

Illustrations & no guarantee

Any figures, projections, and models shown are hypothetical and illustrative only, do not reflect any actual account, and are not a guarantee of future results. Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal.

Intellectual property

The site, its content, and the Plero name and marks are owned by Plero and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plero is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
